Delran Township has officially announced its Clean Communities Days, scheduled to take place from April 9 through April 12, 2025. This annual initiative encourages residents, businesses, and local organizations to join forces in beautifying the town, promoting environmental awareness, and keeping public spaces clean.
During this four-day event, volunteers will be provided with trash bags, gloves, safety vests, and cleanup tools by the township. Participants are encouraged to focus on parks, roadways, school grounds, and public gathering spaces that need a little extra care after the long winter months.
In past years, Clean Communities Days have seen strong participation from student groups, scout troops, church members, and even entire neighborhoods. This year, the township expects an even greater turnout, as many residents look forward to connecting with their neighbors while giving back to the community.
Mayor Gary Catrambone stated, “Clean Communities Days not only help improve the appearance of Delran, but also build pride and unity among residents. It’s a great way to teach kids the value of taking care of our environment.”
Interested participants can register online at the township’s official website or by visiting the municipal building. Group leaders can also arrange for curbside pickup of collected bags after their cleanup efforts.
Whether you have an hour or an entire afternoon to spare, your help makes a difference. Join Delran’s Clean Communities Days and help keep our town looking its best!
