Delran Community Day Unites Residents

On March 22, 2025, Delran residents gathered at Holy Cross Preparatory Academy for Delran Community Day, hosted in partnership with the American Red Cross. The free event focused on health, safety, and unity, featuring a lineup of local organizations providing valuable resources to attendees.

Participants visited booths run by the Delran Fire Department, Food Bank of South Jersey, and local clinics, receiving health screenings, safety information, and free giveaways. Children enjoyed games and face painting, while parents networked with community leaders.

Red Cross volunteers led workshops on emergency preparedness, while the local library hosted storytime for kids. The atmosphere was festive and welcoming, with food trucks and live music adding to the fun.

This initiative aimed to strengthen relationships among residents and connect them with vital services they may not know are available. Community leaders were proud of the turnout and the visible sense of togetherness.

“Delran is more than a town—it’s a family,” said one attendee. Plans are already being discussed to make Community Day a recurring event throughout the year.
